Argo proposes an overhaul of the management structure


Meanwhile, the promoted ones are Susan Comparato, Andy Borst, Gary Grose and Marsh Duncan.

Comparato, who most recently managed a portfolio of Argo’s US business lines, becomes COO and will be responsible for overseeing the global business services and innovation teams. His new assignment also covers group communications, group corporate security and the transformation team in the United States.

Appointed interim president of international operations, Borst will oversee activities in Bermuda, Brazil and Dubai, as well as Syndicate 1200. His credentials include time spent as administrative director of international and group operations.

Grose, as President of the Commercial Specialty, will be responsible for Alternative Risk Solutions, Argo Pro, Commercial Programs, Rockwood and Surety. In addition, the former Executive Vice President of US Operations will continue to handle producer management for Argo.

The new president of surpluses and surpluses, Marsh Duncan, will lead the head of accidents, construction, property and casualty contracts, the environment, the interior navy, property and garages.
