The College of Information Technology (CIT) has embarked on an ambitious reorganization effort to harness the prevalence of computing and the rise of artificial intelligence to advance scientific and technological innovation, at the benefit of society. Under its new structure, the College will serve as the nexus between IT and IT at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). CIT will build on the strength of its current research programs to create new multidisciplinary research initiatives and partnerships, essential to its long-term stability and growth, across and beyond the university campus. CIT will also expand its education portfolio with the creation of new multidisciplinary study programs, including a BSc. in Artificial Intelligence, a BSc. in Data Science, a BSc. in Computational Linguistics, jointly with the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, an MSc. in IoT and a Ph.D. in Computing and Computer Science. A suite of online microloans is also planned in emerging fields of study including Applied AI, IoT, Cybercrime Law and Digital Forensics, Blockchain and Cloud Computing. About the position We are looking for faculty with a strong research background in all areas of information security and privacy, with a particular focus on the theoretical foundations of information security and privacy applications. cryptography, including network and IoT security, secure computing, and standalone security aspects. and intelligent systems. Preferred qualifications include:

  • Established record of high quality research publications in internationally recognized journals and conferences.
  • Demonstrated experience in obtaining research grants and contracts.
  • Evidence of excellence in teaching and supervising students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with professors from multiple departments and programs.
