MINNEAPOLIS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security recently announced the redesignation of Capella University’s Bachelor of Information Science and Cybersecurity program in Information Technology (BSIT) as national center of academic excellence in cyber defense (CAE-CD) for five years, until the academic year 2027. The designation is awarded to educational institutions that meet the latest standards in cybersecurity. The university first received the National Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) designation in 2007 and was renamed in 2015.
