Computer Information Technology Teacher Has Third Course Certified by Quality Matters


WKU faculty member Yaser Mowafi recently earned certification from Quality Matters for his third course, CIT 370 – Telecommunications I.

Dr. Mowafi is Assistant Professor of Computing Information Technology in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Ogden College of Science and Engineering at WKU.

WKU offers 10 Quality Matters certified courses, including five from the Ogden College of Science and Engineering.

Dr. Mowafi has two other CIT courses that have been certified by Quality Matters – Systems Development I and Web Systems Development I. The other two from OCSE are MATH 136, Calculus 1 (Dr Ozkan Ozer) and MATH 501, Intro to Probability and statistics (Dr. Natasha Gerstenschlager).
