HCMC will deploy a single electronic information system for processing administrative procedures

Today, speaking at the national online conference on the preliminary review of 6 months of implementation of the project 06 on the development of the application of demographic data, identification and electronic authentication for national digital transformation in 2022-2025 with a vision of 2030, Vice Chairman of Municipal People’s Committee Duong Anh Duc pointed out that the government’s 06 project is implemented when the metropolis of the sud is determined to implement the digital transformation program for the construction of the smart city and the commissioning of the shared data warehouse, all of which have facilitated the implementation of Project 06.

There are 403 online public services at level 3 and level 4 in HCMC and 25 essential public services under government project 06.

According to Vice President Duong Anh Duc, in an effort to improve the quality of administrative procedures, provide public services online and implement Project 06, Ho Chi Minh City is mobilizing all resources to deploy the system. information to regulate the administrative procedures in the city. This system is expected to be completed in October 2022.

When using this system, people are not required to re-declare information already present in the National Population Database, but they only use their identity account when processing public services. on line.

The implementation of this system is carried out within the framework of Project 06 and it aims to improve the quality of administrative reform in connection with the digital transformation of the city with the orientation towards the construction of a digital government and a digital government of the Municipal People’s Committee, said Mr. Duong Anh Duc.

The Vice-President also mentioned some difficulties and suggestions related to the implementation of Project 06.

Specifically, registering an account to use public services currently requires the holder to use a phone SIM card as the primary subscriber while many people still use unofficial subscribers; therefore, many people have barely had accounts in the civil service.

Ho Chi Minh City also recommended that the public services portal should have a more intuitive and easy to search interface. In addition, currently those who were born outside of Vietnam and naturalized people who do not have accurate information about their place of birth and hometown are unable to fill in their information correctly, which affects the issue. a citizen identification and an identification code.
