Under Peacher’s leadership as the Line of Business Program Manager, his team established and delivered a roadmap and budget for one of the top ten business initiatives within State Farm. As part of this initiative, several IT products have been deployed over several years.
“Brian has extensive experience managing analyst teams, assigning and prioritizing workloads, and providing strategic advice to employees, which is extremely valuable to our university community,” said said David Gerlach, president of Lincoln College.
Peacher notes that her first priority will be learning and observation.
“I hope to assess our processes, systems and tools and assess what is documented, needed and whether those items are achieving the intended result,” said Peacher. “I will work with our IT team to ensure that our processes, systems and tools serve and support Lincoln College today and into the future.”
Peacher’s familiarity with managing stakeholder relations and departmental goals will be instrumental as Lincoln College expands its program offerings. The institution recently launched a number of current degree options in an online format. IT is responsible for supporting hybrid and online delivery and accessibility during this transition.
Peacher holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University in Telecommunications.
In addition to his role at Lincoln College, Peacher is Associate Minister at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Bloomington. He also volunteers in audio / visual ministry at Mount Pisgah, providing voice over weekly announcement videos for the congregation. Peacher will continue to oversee Lincoln College’s career services department, which provides free career counseling and employment opportunities to students and alumni.
“I have every confidence that Brian will lead our IT department with the same rigor and enthusiasm that he has demonstrated with Career Services,” added Gerlach.
